The Raptors are playoffing
Published by The Tar Heel April 2nd, 2007 in NBA
(The Cavalier is on an extended leave of absence. The following was not written by him, although he is already drunk and tonight’s game between tOSU and the Gators is still over 6 hours away.)
As you can see from this picture, the Cav is not the only one with mad picture editing skills. I think the quality speaks for itself. Speaking of quality, the quality of the Canadian Raptors is impressive (how’s that for a silky, smooth professional blogger segway. Only here at the YAY). The Raptors wrapped up a playoff berth lasterday (btw, I now owe the Cav $0.48 in royalties for using the word “lasterday.”) And while injuries to Bargnani and Garbajosa have hurt, methinks that they are still a dangerous team come playoff time. And here are the reasons why, numeraled for your convenience.
1. They will more than likely play the depleted Washington Bullets Wizards in the first round, a very winnable series.
2. They are solid defensively. While they’re not in the league of the San Antonios of the world, there wasn’t a single game this year in which their opponent scored more than 298 points. Solid.
3. They are from Canada. Think about all of the other winners that Canada has given us. Like Canadian Bacon. And curling. And Alaska. Canada = success. It’s science.
So it’s pretty evident that the Canadian Raptors are a very dangerous playoff team. They may or may not win it all. That remains to be seen. However, everytime they have employed their dreaded throw-a-long-in-bounds-pass-and-let-the-other-team-steal-the-ball AND then-throw-it-up-in-the-air-in-effort-to-waste-time-only-they-didn’t-throw-it-high-enough SO Morris-Peterson-gets-the-ball-and-still-has-enough-time-to-hit-a-30-foot-lefthanded-three-pointer WITH a-man-in-his-face-while-falling-out-of-bounds-to-send-the-game-into-overtime-where-they-eventually-pull-away FOR the-victory defense this year, they are undefeated.

How do you guys do that? Grr….I’m dumb
Sure… but who couldn’t win with that defense?
Greatest picture of all-time. Ever. I bow to you Picasso. Correction: it does appear more Dali-esque. I always get them confused.
Working in the Jeopardy Contestant Podium Monitor medium.
Brilliant.
Toronto also dangerous due to the favorable Canadian-US points exchange rate.
Dear Jack,
Like just get your mouse, on like a piece of paper, with some paint underneath it, preferbly the paint colour that is like the same shade of preferred colour, and then like mouve your mouse over the paper as if you are writing.
then scan the picture with a photocopier and set to dry.
Your Welcome, (in advance)
Stevo
It’s spelled ’segue,’ which kind of destroyed any chance of a silky smooth blogger anything. Nice try though!
