WHO SHOT MAMBA IPHONE

1st Round EXPLOSIONS

spiderman-3.pngJust because we’re missing the writing and such, we want to drop some thoughts on the conclusion of the first round and other developments in the NBA.

Most of this you already know, so don’t take so much as “hey, we’re informing you” as “hey we’re informing you of our thoughts on this information you already know”.

The Rockets lose in 7 to Utah – this needs three separate points of input. Poor Tracy McGrady – we did call this loss (for him) before the game. Why doesn’t anyone blame Yao, however? Six boards? Big feet? Slowness? Do you need a center in the NBA anymore? To top it all off, Jeff Van Gundy takes another 3-year sabbatical to lower his blood pressure back into a human range. (The Rockets are officially denying this, btw.)

And what…and what…of Carlos Boozer? Dude is a monster – even we’ve long since admitted it. He all jacked up on steroids, but he’s a monster nonetheless.

Speaking of steroids, the other day our dad asked us out of nowhere if Nicholas Cage was on steroids. Our answer was a swift and simple, “I dunno, I guess so.” Looking back on the entire conversation – the randomness of the question and the non-thought of the answer, plus the person in question…it’s all pretty amazing.

Like we didn’t even think about it – we just figured for whatever reason our father wanted to think Nic Cage was on steroids, so we’re gonna let the thought happen. And like because we live in Los Angeles and work on the fringes of the industry, we’re qualified to give an opinion and have it revered as fact?

Speaking of not really wanting to talk about the Playoffs and revealing the real reason for this post: Spider-Man 3 sucked. We’re really angry about it. If you need our full thoughts, email us. We wrote it out for someone else, so it’s like in our sent mail – we can copy and paste for you.

Pistons in 6. Still.

The refs hand the game to SA. Ugh.

Correction: *the refs and Tony Parker’s granite-like forehead.

yea, after all this time you’d think the refs would be able to spot an obvious flop.

tony parker is shameless.

Are you sure about Spider-Man? My 16-year-old nephew said it was the BEST MOVIE EVER!

So in the PD they said that there were 30 seconds of footage used from the Cleveland shooting in SM3. Movies amaze me. They shot endlessly for 2 weeks, then stayed an additional week to get more footage and they end up with 30 seconds? Is this what has is happening to WSM? Oh and can I get interviewed for the WSM? E! True Hollywood story/making of DVD extra? I am, after all, a reader-commenter/major financial backer.

My respect for T-mac grew a little. Dude actually seemed to care. Sounded like he saw the end of his career approaching and can’t believe he never got it done.

end of his career?
he’s been playing for a while, but he entered the league when was like, 12, right? so, he’s around 19, now?
when mcgrady and yao give you 60 points (give or take…) i’m not sure that you can blame either of them.
six rebouds is pretty horrendous, though.
jason kidd does better than that.

yes… i have man crush on jason kidd.

Kidd just barrels for the ball no matter where it is – everyone should play like that.

8 grifter May 7, 2007 at 12:18 pm

yeah, you’re probably right.
except, if everyone barrelled after the ball at the same time, imagine how many nash/parker head explosions we’d have every game.

9 Jephos May 7, 2007 at 9:52 pm

true, but he’s got the knees of your granny.
