Really??? The C’s lost games on purpose? Come on man, the season was over for the team. If you’re the coach, do you try to win with vets (who are still ailing from injuries) or put the kids in and see what they can do if you’re in a “no-win” situation? Think logically. Doc did the right thing, and it wasn’t losing on purpose…it was giving our youth a chance to develop (or see if they should be on next year’s squad, or trying to bump their trade value, whatever), something all the Jim O’Brien lovers wouldn’t have seen happen (even with PP missing as many games as he did).

What clown wrote this article? No matter what pick the Celtics get they will still be able to air a segment on it.. Celtics fans have been waiting a while to see what the next step is for their franchise. Whether it is Oden/Durant or another pick that hopefully we trade for star veterans, it will still be interesting to see. Also, the fact that you accuse the Celtics of losing games on purpose is ridiculous. If we are going to talk about that, then lets bring up the Grizzlies or the Bucks. If you watched any celtics games down the stretch, you would have seen that the effort was there, but the talent wasnt.

Also on Durant, he only shot like, 48-49 percent. That’s what Morrison shot and he came to the NBA and shot 37 or something. To me it’s not so much the skinny as the jumper.

Oden’s a no-brainer at 1.
