Hey, I just solved the lottery/tanking problem! I’m sooooo much a genius.

Here it is: just do as in Europe. Relegate the two worst teams in the NBA to the D-league. Yeah Doc Rivers, you want to play Bassy Telfair and Brian Scalabrine? How’s a season of playing the Idaho Stampede sound like?

Sure, some kinks would’ve to be worked out, like, I don’t think Greg Oden would want to face the Forth Worth Flyers. But threaten teams with demotion to the D-League, and the risk of tanking is solved.

No regular season game would be boring ever again!
