the thing is, Gibson does more than just shoot. He boxes out (and he got called for a foul boxing out last game. Even though he had position and McDyess just jumped over him. Dumb foul by Gibson, why'd he make Antonio jump over him?), he hits the lane, he defense AND he shoots. Is he a pure pg? nope. But he brings more to the game than just 'shooting'

I don't know who you're referring to with the Boobie train but I was at this game

http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/recap?gid=200601210050

and couldn't believe he fell to 42nd in the draft. He doesn't make a lot of things happen offensively for teammates, but all year everyone cried for Ferry to bring a shooter in and I could never understand Coach Mike wouldn't park Gibson behind the three for the whole game. Plus he seems nice.

The Cavalier (and other interested folk), there's serious talk of a Cleveland gathering of sports-Internet types. E-mail cavsparty@gmail.com if you're interested. (Braces for inevitable Tony Parker prank e-mail)

I'm with you on the asterisk points:

*I am "just happy to be there." Hopefully the Cavs aren't as easily sated, but everything from here on out is gravy to me.

*Windhorst said the 6-game sweep thing.

*I thought Gibson should get more minutes when he power-dunked during an Indiana game early in the year. That showed he had more than one dimension. You could already tell he had the purest shot on the team the first time he hoisted a three.

*I have to give Coach Mike props for his playing substitutions - especially the "small" lineup. He did a good job during the whole series of balancing offense and defense, getting Snow in the game late at the right times. This shows a great deal of "in-game" growth for Coach as he seemed unable to pull the trigger at the right times previously.

*Saturday night was not the time to be OCD. There was a lot of contact with strangers. Nor was it a good time to be afraid of car horns.

*Keep me abreast of Reader Summit II. Did you buy flash seats for game 4?

I think Windhorst called it the sweep...or at least wrote about someone calling it that. I'm still in shock...and now I have to wait until Thursday!?
