YAYsports! NBA

(Jack Cobra here with one of my two posts for Friday. I decided to pass on ripping on the Celtics for now. To breakdown the draft is so ‘last year’.)

Now that the draft is over everyone will look at who their team drafted and either say, “My team drafted/traded for that guy!!!” Or, “My team drafted/traded for that guy???” In my case I’m wondering how the heck Joakim Noah…1) Can smile like that, 2) Wear his hair like that, 3) Smile and wear his hear like that on the night of the draft. I knew the guy was a little out there, but…..wow. I’m not even talking about his basketball playing ability, yet. Dude looks like Sideshow Bob off of ‘The Simpsons’. I can’t imagine what’s going to happen when he shows up to practice with his hair like that and Ben Wallace shows up with his ‘fro. The world may come to an end.

Anyways, NBA fans are either looking at their team and can’t until next season starts, or they are looking at their team and wondering who should be fired for the mess that happened during the draft. I guess that’s part of what makes the draft so great every year. It’s kind of like when you were a kid and it was time for your birthday party. You would get your hopes up that you would get an awesome gift from your grandparents and then it would turn out to be a cowboy hat or maybe a box of “snap-pop’s”. You’d walk away wondering what you did to deserve that crappy gift, but you still had hope that next year would bring bigger and better things.
