Steve Francis Tries To Turn Back The Clock

I had an idea for a whole different post to start the day and then I heard the news….Stevie Franchise has signed with the Houston Rockets. I imagine Cuttino Mobley is now heart broken. Anyways, the first thought that came to my mind was, ‘Why?’. I flip over to a certain web page and I find the answer:
According to a person close to Francis, he chose Houston largely because of his familiarity with the organization and the city. He has kept a home there since joining the club in 1999, and it was the site of his best years in the NBA.
Ok, cool, he has a house there. That’s nice, so he won’t have to buy a new one I guess? I then begin to think some more. Why would Houston do this……..still thinking……still thinking…..I have no idea. It’s almost as if they’ve taken a page out of Isiah’s book and tried to mash together as many players (talented or not) as possible and see what happens.
Here is the problem with the Rockets right now. With the signing of Steve Francis, they now have four Steve Francis’es’s. I’m looking at their roster and they have Aaron Brooks, Mike James, and Rafer Alston already. None of these so called point guards know how to run an offense. I don’t see the reasoning behind for the Rockets. If you are a Rockets fan, please explain this to me.
I actually just thought of a reason why this signing would happen. I have to imagine Yao Ming is not happy about this signing as it will now be quadruppley as hard for him to get the ball passed to him. So, here is what I came up with…..the United States is trying to piss off all Chinese people. With the way Yi is snubbing Milwaukee maybe this is our subtle way of psychologically tearing down the Chinese and leaving them with nothing but that tasty food?

Oh and I believe the plural of Francis is Francii. As in today is the Francii Family Reunion. There were many Francii present. Tony Parker is from France, but is not one of the Francii.

Joey Crawford is not officiating that game, that’s for sure. I thought Houston looked like the early favorite to win the championship next year, with James, T-Mac, Scola, Battier, and Yao, plus Skip To My Lou coming off the bench, plus Adelman in charge. Now, with this Francis signing, I don’t know… it’s like subtraction by addition….
Why doesn’t Stevie turn the clock back to his Univ of Maryland days & finish school! Too bad he left right before we won the National Championship. Probably couldn’t have done it with him!
