Isiah Thomas is racist; also boring

At some point during the Isiah Thomas sexual harassment trial, they’re going to have the beginning of the NBA preseason.
Will it be as exciting and revealing as the trial? Doubtful.
Will it include the participation of the Knicks Head Coach himself?
Honestly, that’s starting to look shaky - already there is speculation that David Stern is going to lay some suspensions down on Zeke, and possibly ownership, as well.
Why…? Well, because of stuff like this.
“I never cursed at Miss Sanders. Now have I ever used curse words around her, yes, but at her? No,” Thomas said in response to questions posed by attorneys.
On the tape, Thomas also said that he would find it more offensive if a white male called a black female a “bitch,” than if a black male used the same term when speaking to a black female. Browne Sanders has said that Thomas repeatedly called her that.
The “swore around her” and “swore at her” demarcation sounds a bit like the Clintonesque “sexual relations” situation, yes?
Just as bad is the other stuff, however. That’s flat-out racism, and the previous allegations that Isiah hates white people seem to be true. Except there it seems like he hates black women, as well.*
(Asians, Indians, Latinos, and Canadians…sorry. He feels nothing for any of you.)
What this really boils down to is as follows - as a young, white, American male, who exactly are we allowed to call a “bitch”? Is there a chart somewhere that’ll tell us what the etiquette is?
It’s a shame there’s no law that would allow Zeke to go on trial for this, because we’d love to hear a full explanation for this theory of his. We’d also love if this thing were on Court TV, as we mentioned the last time we posted, which was like 3 weeks ago.
* Remember - this is okay, because as Isiah will tell you in response to almost anything, he had a rough childhood on the streets of Chicago! That makes irrational hatred of others and asinine, salary-cap killing trades acceptable.
NOTE: The judge wants to hustle things along - he saw one of the jurors falling asleep the other day. We hereby volunteer to sit on the jury - we’re sure our long history of writing about Isiah won’t color our opinion at all.
