Joakim Noah is my Favorite (Bulls) Player

(Jack Cobra reporting for duty once again.)
Joakim Noah has become my favorite player on my favorite team and I’m not even sure why. He’s only played one game and it wasn’t even a real one. He wasn’t even able to participate in the Summer League schedule the Bulls played because of a bum shoulder. He may not even be able to hit an 8 foot jumper. I’m still trying to figure out why I like him. I’ve seen his rendition of ‘Sweet Home Chicago’ and it had some excitement to it, I can appreciate that. The Bulls have even played jokes on him by spelling his name incorrectly on his jersey, and he handled it well, I can appreciate that. What I appreciate most is his all out hustle every minute he’s on the court and every minute he’s on the practice court. The kid gets it. He’s not going to become the next LeBron, but players like Noah are the kind of players that can make you really enjoy being a fan of your favorite team because you know he’s giving nothing less than max effort.
“I don’t know how much playing time I’m going to get or what’s going to happen,” he said. “All I know is I’m going to work hard when my name is called and learn and become the best player I can be. That’s the only expectation I put on myself.
“I just want to learn. That’s the most important thing. There’s been a lot of information thrown at you in the last 10 days.”
Ben Gordon used to be my favorite player on the Bulls because the dude can flat out fill up the hoop and then I like Luol Deng a little bit because he does a little bit of everything, but for this season Noah is the player I’m going to be watching.

I actually think he’s terrible, but hey, everyone has an opinion.
Here’s wishing more players were a little more like Noah. More effort on the court, more genuine in front of the cameras. Varejao is the Cavaliers version, he became an overnight favorite in one game. It’s easy to see why fans love these kind of guys… and they deserve it.
he is what he is ‘the spin’. you can’t expect lindsay lohan to make it clean for more than a month in the real world and you can’t expect noah to score 20 a game…
You also can’t expect Noah to play coordinated basketball.
Exactly, I want him to run around, bump into people, grab some boards, and make people mad…all while laughing about it. Rasheed Wallace will come to hate him.
Rasheed Wallace may come to hate him, but Amir Johnson will love dunking over him.
Amir Johnson may be the only player in the NBA that Noah is thicker than.
That’s because Amir gets taller like every week… he’s 3″ taller than he was at the start of training camp!
