(This post is quite random, as it was written part last night and part this morning.)
Welcome to YAYsports! MLB - we love this Indians team.
In fact, we love it even more than having Optimus Prime call our mom over 30 times in 2 hours lasterday. Have you ever had your mom call you and […]

(Jack Cobra (me) is here on Friday’s, so he wrote this. I do have a question though before I get to the post. Is it possible The Cavalier is putting ‘easter eggs’ about WSM? into his PhotoShopped pics, much like they’ve done on LOST?)
First of all, how evil does Nashie look in that pic? That’s […]

(The Cavalier is on an extended leave of absence. The following was not written by him, although he’’ll be apologizing with Don Imus shortly.)
So two weeks ago it’s reported that LeBron is building a giant fantasy house. Everyone talks about it and we all moved on.
Well, at least normal people did.
Tom Knott, on […]

As you know, we’ve been closely following SLAM’’s countdown of all the Jordans, leading up to the release of the XX2, which may be the first ones we pick up in quite some time. That’s undecided as of now, and also beside the point.
No, the point of this post is that today SLAM is hitting […]

Big surprise! He really does.
Well, we’re way late (we think) on this one - the new “Second Coming” commercials from Nike regarding the latest edition of the Air Force One line. This has all the major Nike guys - Kobe, LeBron, Nash, Tony La France, etc. Also SHEED!. (Exclamation point officially added as of this […]

We love these commercials, and there’s a new batch for the impending new season. We assume the effects aren’t finished, since the Kid LeBron head is all screwy and you can see the green screen in one of them. Alas…

We’re not sure why people hopped on Kobe’s “Team USA needs chemistry” statement like it was some kind of controversy - we read it as “we need chemistry…and that’s what this 3-year program is all about.” We didn’t see it as a criticism at all. Oh well - the man continues his march through Asia.

(GO […]

Brian Windhorst made mention yesterday of a Nike campaign in China that asks the simple question: LeBron or Kobe?
Well, that there is the ad itself, and we’re Photoshop free for the first time in probably 11 months or so. (It’s quite liberating, but it won’t last - don’t worry.)
Anyway, our first thought when seeing this […]

Well, that whole “Slovenia should be a good test” thing is fine with us, because we just rolled over them.
Team USA, now 3-0 in the World Championships, had an assist-to-TO ratio of like 80-1, and forced roughly 103 turnovers. Basically, every time Slovenia came down the court, we took the ball from them.
Yes, we […]

Nike has launched what might be the most revolutionary marketing device they’re ever had - a blog. What can you find on the Nike Blog?
It’s nothing like you’d expect, actually. One would assume it’s really just an ad for their shoes and apparel, but it’s so much more than that. Check out this post […]
