He did not write this but he did write the post prior to this one….)
I’ve had a couple of days to get over the Bulls demoralizing defeat at the hands of the Nets on Wednesday and I think I’m finally able to start to think about […]

The following was not written by him, although he would’ve written it, if it wasn’t for those pesky kids.)
Cleveland fans aren’t in the best of moods right now. The Tribe is playing its first home games in Milwaukee since Major League (though they won last […]

The following was not written by him, although he would probably be too upset to write coherently right now anyway.)
Let’s see if I have this right. There were only two games on the NBA slate Thursday night. In our first game we had Cleveland, the second seed […]
Linas Kleiza is a Denver Nugget
30 Comments Published by The Cavalier March 16th, 2007 in NBA, Kobe Bryant, LA Lakers, Denver Nuggets, International, Standings, Allen IversonWe’ve all been waiting for that day when Denver’s Linas Kleiza breaks out, and lasterday night it finally happened.
Linas scored 29 points, helping the Nuggets send the Lakers to their 7th straight loss. It also bumped DEN into the 6th playoff spot, which means the Lakers are now the 7 seed.
(Are there three more […]
Chris Bosh is at .500
11 Comments Published by The Cavalier February 1st, 2007 in NBA, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, Standings, Chris BoshThe 2007 Atlantic Division is, of course, one of the top ten worst things to ever exist on planet earth (Modern Era). It lies somewhere after Hitler and before “Family Guy”.
That said, the Toronto Raptors are determined to get the division off that list, and their climb back to .500, which was accomplished last night […]
The Chicago Bulls are not good
7 Comments Published by The Cavalier November 22nd, 2006 in Trades, Chicago Bulls, Denver Nuggets, Stats, Standings, Ben WallaceOne of the tiny little overlooked deals of the offseason was the shuttling of JR Smith from the Hornets to the Bulls, who immediately reshuttled him to the shooting guard starved Denver Nuggets for a second round pick or something.
The two teams met up to play a basketball game last night, and JR, who’s assumed […]
Chauncey Billups is tired of this
25 Comments Published by The Cavalier November 16th, 2006 in Detroit Pistons, NO/OKC Hornets, Things We Like, Standings, Rasheed WallaceAs the Cavaliers rolled over the Trailblazers last night and continued their “best record in the East” thing, we periodically checked the score of Pistons v Hornets, just to make sure we could wake up this morning and still say “we told you so”.
Detroit loses at home to NO/OKC, and looks disjointed and uninspired doing […]
Zach Randolph is wonderful
7 Comments Published by The Cavalier November 11th, 2006 in Injuries, NO/OKC Hornets, Portland Trailblazers, StandingsThe early read of the standings is mighty confusing this season, and perhaps no part more so than the Portland Trailblazers sitting at 4-2.
Yep, that’s where they are after 6 games (4+2=6!), the fourth victory coming last night over the Hornets. (also quick starters at…4-2.)
The catalyst behind this quick start?
None other than one-time hotel-patron Zach […]
The Atlantic Division is awesome
6 Comments Published by The Cavalier December 7th, 2005 in Standings, AwardsThe second random Awesome Award must go to the unbelievable Atlantic Division, which barely beat out Kristen Bell in short shorts.
How is the Atlantic Division awesome?
1) Every single team is undefeated. How often does that happen this late in the season?
2) Seriously - look at those winning percentages. The Knicks are a game and […]
The Northwest Division is awesome
1 Comment Published by The Cavalier November 17th, 2005 in Standings, AwardsThere’s only one word to describe the power of the Northwest Division, and that word is awesome. It is so awesome, in fact, that we’ve created the Awesome Award, which may or may not ever be given out again, depending on the worthiness of other possible awesome events, people, or divisions.
Here are the 5 […]
